Last week I informed you all of my !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , wherein, I am being suffocated by lack thereof performance, so I think I need to do something about it before I lose my mind.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

So my two options are:

1 : Rent an exotic for a few hours. Something like a Gallardo, I can get one for 6 hours with a 125 mile limit. Pros: Longer time with the car, freedom to go and do what I please. Cons: I am liable for any tickets, damages, fuel, etc.

2 : On-track driving experience. Take 6 laps around a 1.3-ish mile course in something like a 991 GT3. Pros: I get to drive fast without consequence, I am not responsible for anything but myself. Cons: Less time with the car, dont really get to mess around with any of the features other than the go pedal.

So which would you pick?

How do you want to drive it? And are you likely to bin it if some 'spirited driving' occurs?

I could do either, thats my problem. A nice relaxing cruise or not even lifting...

Not likely, but its these other drivers I have to worry about.

If it's just a cruise with the occasional squirt on the straights then option 1 for sure. But do your research on the good roads within 50 miles :)

Living in the desert and all with nothing but straight roads, I'd assume, you might get more out of the track experience. But if you want to enjoy a day with a German with an Italian accent that likes to catch fire you should do the full days worth of driving, just be sure to take lots of pictures of the car and any little blemishes it has before you take delivery. It might be cheaper to rent a Vette and have fun in that. I'm not entirely sure what the correct answer is for you, but I'd go with the longer experience assuming the costs of the two options are equivalent. It could be fun to go and put 125 miles on an "exotic" in one day, but that can be accomplished in less than two hours and you have to plan your driving route out well in advance so you can maximize the fun and road enjoyment. Where as on track you can just arrive, listen to someone tell you about the circuit and not to bin the car and then lets you do some laps.
